Deputy Alexander Brenes put forward a proposal to reduce prices for transit along the northern and southern corridors. Within the framework of this initiative, it is proposed to introduce temporary subsidies, revise tariffs, or change the cost of transit depending on the time of week.
She noted: "The goal of this plan is to alleviate the financial burden for many citizens, through which they have to transit every day on their way to study or work. The proposed measures will help make transit along the corridors more accessible for everyone."
According to Brenes, reducing prices for transit along these corridors will positively impact the quality of life of people, especially those for whom regular commutes are part of their daily routine.
