Planning the Future of Costa Rica

In Costa Rica, there is a highlighted need to plan the country with a focus on children and retirements. The new law of the Caja does not address the underlying issues.

Currently, the main focus is on concerns for children, adolescents, and the elderly in society. Regardless of the course the new law of the Caja takes, it is essential to start planning for the future of the country immediately, which also encompasses the topic of pensions. It is evident that currently, palliative measures are being implemented that do not solve the underlying problem.

"Today what we are doing is putting on another patch, but it does not solve the problem," mentioned a specialist in the area. This reflection highlights the importance of comprehensively and proactively addressing the structuring of policies that ensure a sustainable future for all sectors of the population.
